How do I Get an EPZ Job in Athiriver?

The EPZ factories in Athiriver employ lots of people – almost 30,000, as per the last count I came across. So this means that there are numerous factories in the Athiriver export processing zone (EPZ)  with numerous positions falling vacant each day. And that in turn means that the probability of getting a job in Athiriver EPZ is reasonably good, especially if you go with an open mind and are willing to take any job.
In practical terms, there are 3 key ways in which you can get an EPZ job in Athiriver.
The first way in which you can get an EPZ job in Athiriver would be by presenting yourself for a walk-in interview. The way this works is that you go to the gate of the Athiriver EPZ factory you wish to work for on the day when that particular factory happens to be recruiting. Then someone comes from inside, to invite you for interviews (or simply to select the individuals who are to be given the jobs). The only challenge you may encounter here is that of getting past the Athiriver EPZ main gate.
The second way in which you can get an EPZ job in Athiriver would be by applying. So you can obtain the email address of the EPZ company you wish to work for (especially the HR email address) and send your resume to that address. They may then call you for an interview and you subsequently get a job. There may also be cases where the factories in Athiriver EPZ advertise open positions. You can then go ahead to apply for those open positions, to ultimately get yourself a job.
The third way in which you can get an EPZ job in Athiriver would be by networking with folks who are already working there. Then they can tell you when the factories they work for would be recruiting (and perhaps connect you to the recruiters), ultimately giving you an opportunity to work at Athiriver EPZ.
Before you can get an EPZ job in Athiriver, you will obviously need to have a Kenyan ID (if you are a Kenyan national). So if you don’t have an ID card, you may need to read the answer to the question on can I apply for a Kenya ID online. There are also some companies that will require you to have a KRA PIN before hiring you – hence the need for you to read the answer to the question on how to applyfor a kra pin online. All said and done, if you are really keen on working in the Athiriver EPZ, and are consistent in your job search, it should be just a matter of time before you get a position there.
